German Parliamentary Commissioner for the Armed Forces visits AWACS crew in Turkey

The German politician Mr. Hans-Peter Bartels flew with a NATO AWACS to Forward Operating Base (FOB) Konya. From this location the multi-national crew flies surveillance missions in support of the counter-ISIL coalition. Mr. Bartels took time to talk to the crew and learn about their experience during this deployment. Afterwards Mr. Bartels stated that he was impressed by all the good work that has been done so far.
